Terms of service

Who you're buying from. True Maps is operated by Nikita Ivanov, tax number (NIF) 330309846, Av. Manuel Pinto de Azevedo 348, 4460-360 Matosinhos, Portugal. Contact: hello@truemaps.co. These terms govern your purchase; placing an order means you accept them.

What's sold. True Maps sells cartographic prints from a fixed catalog. Each print is produced on demand after you order — there is no pre-made stock, and the available regions and sizes are as shown on the site.

Orders and contract. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract forms when True Maps confirms the order. An order may be declined or canceled in rare cases — for example an obvious pricing error, a region or size that becomes unavailable, or an address that can't be served — in which case you are fully refunded.

Prices and taxes. Prices are shown in the currency you select. Shipping is free to many countries; where a delivery cost or sales tax applies, it is shown at checkout before you pay. An order shipped across a border may also meet import duties, customs charges, or local taxes levied by the destination country on arrival — these are set by local authorities, can't be known in advance, and are the buyer's responsibility.

Returns and cancellation. A faulty, damaged, or incorrect print is replaced or refunded at True Maps' cost. You may also return an unused print within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind. Full conditions are on the Returns page.

Intellectual property. The maps, designs, and everything on this site are the work and property of True Maps. Buying a print gives you that print for personal use; it does not grant any right to copy, resell, redistribute, or reproduce the design.

Liability. True Maps is responsible for delivering the print as described and for putting things right if they go wrong on its end. It is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing here limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. If you buy as a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If something goes wrong, email hello@truemaps.co first — most issues resolve faster that way than through any formal channel. If a complaint can't be settled between us, you can take it to CICAP, a Portuguese consumer arbitration center.

Changes. These terms may be updated; the version that applies to your order is the one published here at the time you order.
